Khar Social, Now Open.

The awesomeness extends to Khar. 

Being a loyal #Social fan I was there at the Première Night of Khar Social on 7th Nov 2015. And boy what grandeur! This place is huge; though not as big as the #HauzKhas outlet in Delhi. But the spirit is right in place.  

Food was as usual, above average. Ordered the Grilled Chicken Peri Peri Sizzler and the South-hall Fish and Chips. Killer! I keep telling people I go back to #Social for their food. Very seldom you see pubs serving food that's so freaking tasty! 

Every time I walk into any #Social outlet, even before checking their cute newspaper like menu, I order my favourite poison - 'Trip on the Drip' (Smirnoff Vanilla + Orange juice + Cranberry juice). That drink and I go back a long way. Years back when I first walked into the #HauzKhas Social outlet, it was packed and I had to wait for a while at the bar counter before I could grab a seat. The bartender suggested 'Trip on the Drip' as it comes in a handy zip-lock pouch with a straw in it. We've been inseparable ever since :) 

Of all the drinks my husband tried I must mention 2 -

--> 'A Game of Sling', a very fancy fruit based drink with Gin and Brandy. 

--> U.S. Mule, Green Apple and Gin with an Earl Grey tea bag

For both these, the presentation was probably a little better than the drink itself and trust me the drink was very very good!  Check these out next time you walk into Social. #HighlyRecommend 

Last night was an invite only dinner. Social Khar opens to customers today. 

Decor - Social signature style. Dimly lit, hanging chargers, yellow light and a great open air seating arrangement as well

Drinks - Innovative and fun cocktails, great presentation

Food - Wholesome, all kinds of cuisine, lip-smacking good

Price - Bang for the buck, pocket friendly considering the ambience 

Oh did I not mention the dessert? We ordered something called Chocolate Bath... well the dish arrived in a miniature bathtub and I've not seen more of chocolate in one single dish, I swear! 

Ice-cream, chocolate sauce, brownie, nuts - just name it and it was there. 

That's a lot of good things in one place. Just go visit. Table reservations recommended. 

I'll definitely go back!
